How, where and when do I plant Allium 'Cowanii' bulbs?

The planting depth should be about 2 to 3 times the height of the bulb, and the spacing should also be 2 to 3 times its width. Allium 'Cowanii' grows best in full sun or light shade. For ideal growth and flowering, plant it in nutrient-rich, well-draining soil – preferably a chalky sandy soil.

Care

Let the flowers fully mature and form seed, allowing the plant to self-sow. If you'd like to propagate the bulbs, you can dig them up in July.
