A large purple globe among perennials, white flowers rising above the foliage and the open stars of ‘Christophii’: Allium Celebration brings five ornamental allium varieties to your border. This pack contains 90 organic bulbs, from tall ‘Gladiator’ to later-flowering ‘Ping Pong’.

From bold flower heads to delicate stars
‘Gladiator’ adds height. ‘Mount Everest’ and ‘Purple Sensation’ combine white and purple. The shorter ‘Christophii’ has striking, open heads of star-shaped flowers. ‘Ping Pong’ flowers later, extending the allium season.
The flowers attract bees and other pollinators. Their seed heads remain attractive after flowering. Leave a few among your perennials or dry some stems for indoor use.
How to plant this allium pack
Plant from October in loose, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade, while the ground is neither frozen nor very wet. As a rule of thumb, plant at two to three times the bulb's height. Allow about 20 cm for large alliums; place ‘Christophii’ in smaller groups at the front or among other plants.
Care after flowering
Let the leaves turn yellow before removing them so the bulb can build reserves. Surrounding perennials can hide the dying foliage. In a suitable position, the bulbs can stay in the ground and flower again in future years.
