Organic white ornamental onion

The Allium 'Mount Everest' with its beautiful white round flowers bloom late in the spring; that is why these ornamental onions can be combined well with colored perennials in the border. The bees love them because of the abundance of nectar in the star flowers. Plant them in groups in the garden or in pots for a wow effect. They will provide years of fun!

It grows to a height of about 80 centimeters to a meter and blooms for about 4 weeks in May and June. The white umbellifer, which is almost round like a ball, has a flower diameter of about 15 centimeters wide and has approximately 300 star-shaped flowers in the ball. It looks a lot like the purple Allium 'Purple Sensation', which is why they can be combined well with each other.

Tip: Suitable for drying!

This product contains 3 XL flowerbulbs with a size of 18 centimeters.

How, where and when do I plant Allium 'Mount Everest' flowerbulbs?

A flowerbulb needs a cold period. Therefore, plant it in the ground in the autumn from October to January. The planting depth is 2 to 3 times the flowerbulb itself and the planting distance is 2 to 3 times the width of the flowerbulb itself. Plant it in full sun or partial shade in a nutrient-rich, water-permeable, preferably calcareous, sandy soil.

Care

After flowering, cut off the spent flowers and once the foliage has died, the flowerbulb can be dug out to divide the flowerbulb. It usually multiplies. The flowerbulbs are then stored in the shed until September and are then replanted in the ground. The flowerbulbs can also be left in the ground. These naturalize and grow again on their own.

Provide organic nutrition immediately when planting and in the spring before flowering for optimal results!
