How, where and when do I plant flower bulbs?
Flower bulbs need a cold period. Therefore, plant the flower bulbs in the ground in the fall so that they are in the ground during the winter. Flower bulbs do not like to have wet feet. Therefore, start by digging a hole that is four times as deep as the largest flower bulb in this package and first put a layer of soil mixed with pebbles or something else that has a draining effect.
The planting depth is 2 to 3 times the height of the flower bulb and the planting distance is 2 to 3 times the width of the flower bulb. These flower bulbs can also be planted together in a hole of approximately 50 by 50 cm wide. Then start by planting the largest flower bulbs first. Then cover those flower bulbs with a layer of soil, at least as large as the flower bulb itself and plant the smaller flower bulbs above it in the same way. The flower bulbs have different flowering times. This way you can enjoy different flowers again and again and you save space.
